As a Senior Associate, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams in the delivery of strategic and commercially impactful advice to customers across the energy, resources and chemicals sectors infrastructure sectors. You will be responsible for shaping and executing complex assignments, cultivating customer relationships, and contributing to the growth of the practice through business development and thought leadership.

What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our Singapore or Kuala Lumpur office team.
The role responsibilities include:
- Lead project teams to deliver high-quality advisory assignments, managing scope, timelines, budget, and outcomes also share domain expertise through internal knowledge sharing and external thought leadership.
- Lead a ‘doer-seller’ approach by engaging existing and prospective customers, overseeing problem definition and solution design, and driving the development of compelling proposals and pitch materials.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with senior customer stakeholders by participation in industry forums, sector conferences, and professional networks to position Worley Consulting as a trusted advisor and thought leader within priority markets
- Collaborate closely with Worley teams across South East Asia and Australia to deliver high-impact, cross-sectoral advisory engagements across service lines.
- Structure and execute problem-solving approaches for commercial and technical execution.
- Prepare high-impact reports, presentations, and deliverables tailored to customer audiences.
- Coach and mentor junior team members, supporting their growth and capability development. And actively contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture.
- Drive development of Worley Consulting’s methodologies, tools, and intellectual property.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering, economics, business, finance, or related discipline.
- Candidates with dual qualifications (e.g. Engineering + Economics) have an advantage.
- Extensive years of relevant experience in consulting, strategy, or within large corporates and asset-intensive industries (e.g. energy, infrastructure, resources).
- Proactive mindset to engage with customers to identify needs, develop hypothesis- based solutions, and adapt to evolving priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, with a proven track record of engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including C-suite executives, government representatives, technical specialists, and commercial teams.
- Exposure to project finance, investment committees, and strategic planning groups is considered an advantage.
- Demonstrated business development capability, including customer relationship development and proposal leadership.
- Structured thinking, initiative, and ability to synthesise complex information into actionable recommendations for both customers and team members.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience guiding diverse, multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to continuous learning, coaching, and professional development.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to speak Mandarin is advantageous for interactions with Mandarin-speaking only associates.
- Singapore or Malaysia citizen.
