As a Sales Operations and Marketing Manager, your responsibility includes integrating CRM systems, marketing, and sales enablement resources. This is a commercial role with sales responsibilities, with a primary focus on achieving renewal retention targets and jointly owning sales targets alongside the sales team. The role is critical for maintaining efficient processes, building demand through marketing, and supporting sustainable business growth to enhance team performance and achieve measurable business outcomes.
To succeed in this role, you should have experience in supporting B2B SaaS or software sales, combining analytical expertise with creative marketing skills to optimise the sales funnel, drive demand generation, and improve operational efficiencies.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Sales Operations and Marketing Manager to join our Malaysia team.
The role responsibilities include:
- Streamline and manage sales processes to ensure consistency and efficiency throughout the sales cycle. Conduct weekly sales cadence meetings to drive alignment and performance.
- Monitor sales metrics and generate actionable insights to inform decision making and improve performance.
- Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and optimisation of the CRM system to enhance tracking, reporting, and lead management, ensuring compliance with Worley’s standards.
- Handle transactional deals, particularly related to subscription renewals, ensuring smooth execution and timely closure. Manage the tendering and contracting process, coordinating with client procurement departments to ensure alignment with company policies and compliance requirements.
- Engage with clients to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, fostering long-term customer relationships and driving additional revenue.
- Oversee the order management process, ensuring accurate order entry, timely fulfilment, and coordination across relevant departments to meet customer expectations, delivery timeline and post-sales support.
- Collaborate with the Legal to ensure compliance with contract terms, negotiations, and legal requirements for sales agreements Partner with Finance and Project Services to support accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), revenue reporting, forecasting, and track sales performance against financial targets.
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries, ensuring prompt and professional responses to address customer needs and provide relevant information.
- Develop and manage tools, resources, and training to empower the sales team to meet and exceed targets. Ensure the sales team complies with technical and sales certification requirements as defined by sales leadership.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to develop accurate sales forecasts and track progress toward goals and Plan, execute, and optimise integrated marketing campaigns (digital, email, events, social media) to generate and nurture leads. Develop and manage the marketing activities calendar to ensure timely execution and alignment with business objectives.
- Create compelling marketing content, such as LinkedIn posts, case studies, brochures and other materials to drive engagement.
- Plan, organise, and execute webinars with the support of technical team to engage the target audience, promote the brand, and support lead generation efforts and brand management oversee brand positioning in accordance with Worley’s branding standards and messaging, ensuring alignment with the business’s goals and target audience.
- Manage online lead generation programs, including SEO, PPC, and ABM campaigns, to drive pipeline growth.
- Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify trends, customer needs, and opportunities for growth. Leverage market research resources to generate leads and build contact lists for targeted outreach.
- Partner with the sales team to align sales operations and marketing efforts with sales objectives and strategies.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies for new software features or releases or special offers.
- Collaborate with leadership to set and track KPIs for both sales and marketing initiatives.
What you’ll have
- Proven track record of driving sales and marketing alignment to achieve business goals.
- Expertise in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo, Pardot).
- Strong analytical skills with experience in sales forecasting, data analysis, and reporting.
- Exceptional project management and organisational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft engaging marketing materials and sales presentations.
- Knowledge of SaaS or enterprise software sales models is a plus.
- Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and drive decision-making based on performance metrics.
- A keen eye for detail in contract terms, financial reports, and project timelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience working effectively acrossmultiple departments, including sales, legal, finance, and project services.
- Capacity to identify challenges and implement creative, efficient solutions to improve sales and operational performance.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and respond effectively to changing business needs.
- Capacity to mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high performance culture.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas and information clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and marketing automation platforms, with a good understanding of software solutions. Experience with engineering software will be a plus.
- A solid understanding of business operations and financial principles, with the ability to align sales and marketing efforts with business growth objectives.
