As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible to drive the sales and market penetration of our product in
Indonesia by identifying and developing key market opportunities. The role involves building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients across various sectors.
To succeed in this role, you should have a dynamic and results-driven sales professional with strong technical expertise in engineering software solutions. And possess excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and have a proven track record in driving sales and market growth.

What you’ll do
We’re looking for a Sales Consultant to join our team in Jakarta, Indonesia.
In this role, the key responsibilities will include:
1. Sales Process:
• Manage the entire sales process, from initial discussions to closing deals.
• Present software options, address technical queries, negotiate pricing, and submit orders for processing.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and sales forecasts using CRM software.
2. Understanding Client Needs:
• Identify and reach out to potential clients through various channels (cold calling, networking events, digital marketing).
• Conduct clear and informative product demonstrations and presentations to showcase software features and benefits.
• Thoroughly understand client needs and provide tailored software solutions to meet their requirements.
3. Relationship Building:
• Build strong relationships with clients by providing ongoing support, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction.
4. Outreach Campaigns:
• Online Campaigns: Utilize digital marketing strategies, including targeted ads, engaging content, and webinars to attract and educate potential clients about SIMULIA software.
• Offline Campaigns: Participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network and showcase SIMULIA software. Organize in-person workshops and distribute promotional materials.
• Cold Calling: Conduct targeted cold calling campaigns to reach potential clients, prepare personalized pitches, and follow up to schedule meetings and demonstrations.
• Tradeshows/networking Events: Attend relevant tradeshows and networking events to build relationships and present SIMULIA software as a solution to industry challenges.
• Email Marketing: Execute email marketing campaigns to nurture leads and keep potential clients informed about updates and success stories.
What you’ll have
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering or software sales.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering or Computer Science or related fields.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of current technical/engineering practices and future trends in the CAE industry and digital solutions. Ability to quickly understand technical concepts related to software products and communicate them effectively to clients.
• Exhibit proficiency in numerical modelling, particularly in FEA/CFD, along with experience in preparing consulting proposals and technical reports.
• Capacity to analyse market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify sales opportunities.
• Demonstrate skill in developing and presenting sales proposals, along with a proven ability to build and manage sales pipelines.
• Have proven track record of successfully delivering technical/engineering projects within industries such as Oil & Gas, Defence, High-Tech, and Biomedical would be advantageous.
• Experience in software development or customization projects, utilizing languages like Fortran and Python would be advantageous.
• Possess strong oral and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in additional languages or other regional languages considered advantageous.
