🎯 Purpose
As a Senior Functional Safety Specialist Instrumentation Engineer at Worley, you will play a pivotal role as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specialist discipline within our global organisation. Their expertise will be crucial in determining methods and solutions to complex engineering challenges, ensuring that the most efficient and cost-effective approaches are employed to meet the objectives. You will be recognized both inside and outside the organization, operating regionally and globally.
🗳 What You'll Bring
· Professional in Electronic Engineering or related careers.
· Minimum experience of 5+ years in similar positions as a Functional Safety Specialist.
· It maintains an active license with local engineering government bodies where required by law, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
· It is desirable to have functional safety certification (IEC-61511) issued by one or more of the following programs: Exida (CFSP), ISA (SFS), TÜV Rheinland (FSEng), TÜV SUD (FSP) or be willing to obtain it.
· Have advanced knowledge of industry regulations, codes, manufacturing standards and practices, in line with Worley's commitment to delivering sustainable change.
· Have experience, typically more than 5 years, in developing SIS-related documentation such as: SIL Verification and Calculations. SRS, FSMP, SIS maintenance procedures.
· Demonstrate knowledge of IEC-61511, IEC-61508, ISA TR84.00.02, ISA TR84.00.03, ISA TR96.05.01, as well as other related standards and good practices.
