Regional Construction Director (Oman Kuwait Qatar UAE)

Experience, Knowledge & Skills

·          University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.

·          20+ years relevant experience in large EPC (M) Projects with significant project management experience.

·          Recognised Oil & Gas discipline background.

·          Excellent people management skills such as leadership, team, interpersonal, coaching, mentoring and supervisory skills.

·          Must be able to build, motivate, develop and manage an effective team.

·          Excellent management skills including the ability to plan, set goals; and manage time, priorities, resources, accountabilities, schedules and cost.

·          Demonstrate behaviour and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety and environmental performance.

·          Expert understanding of broader systems, processes and tools related to construction and the interfaces to all the support functions.

·          Able to make difficult decisions and lead and manage others in changing business conditions.

·          Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management. Ability to persuade and influence others. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.

·          Ability to manage multiple complex projects through others; Works frequently with location and regional management on significant matters influencing the business results.
