Worley Canada Construction is seeking a Recruitment Coordinator to join our People team, based in our Edmonton, Alberta office.
Responsibilities:
- Collect and upload required certifications and training documentation relevant to each position into appropriate database.
- Initiate mobilization process for recruited new hires. Communicate mobilization logistics including project specific information to new hires
- Upload, monitor and answer questions regarding tickets uploaded to centralized support centre.
- Support and initiate the benefit program for non-union hourly staff
- Address and support employees with payroll and benefit inquiries.
- Support the Apprenticeship program to ensure compliance with provincial apprenticeship bodies.
- Initiate change of engagement and demobilization forms etc as necessary and liaise with appropriate site coordinators.
- Provide onboarding support as required.
- Create employment verification letters.
- Complete various reports including benefits, apprenticeship reporting and alcohol and drug testing account reconciliation.
- Cross train with other recruitment coordinators to support additional reports and union requirements.
- Provide support as required in full cycle trades recruitment including sourcing and pre-screening resumes with prospective candidates.
- Provide administrative support to HR and recruitment teams as required.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 2 years administrative experience supporting Recruitment or HR functions.
- Certificate, diploma or degree in Business or Human Resources is an asset.
- Human Resources experience working within an industrial construction environment is preferred.
- Proven competency in MS Office suite of tools
- Familiarity with applicant tracking and HR systems.
- Ability to appropriately handle high volume of mobilizations for field projects and work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Strong interpersonal skills – establish direct working relationships and rapport with all levels within the organization including colleagues on the HR team.
- Strong communication skills including verbal and written.
- Good customer service skills including developing and improving customer relationships internally and externally.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and a focus on producing a quality product in a timely manner.
