As a Quality Manager, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of quality assurance and control across a range of projects within the location. This role ensures that quality objectives are achieved and that all work complies with Worley Management Systems, contractual obligations, client expectations, and relevant regulations and standards. It also plays a critical part in supporting project teams, mentoring quality personnel, embedding continuous improvement practices, and ensuring alignment with the overall ANZ and Global quality strategies.

What you’ll do
The role responsibilities include:
- Support sales teams in identifying quality risks and requirements. Ensure quality resources and Worley Management System processes are in place from project initiation.
- Develop and implement Quality Management Plans and assurance tools tailored to each project's risk profile. Ensure readiness for both startup and construction phases.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships. Serve as the primary point of contact for quality, ensuring alignment with client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
- Lead quality implementation across all project phases. Coach project teams and ensure compliance with legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements.
- Review and approve supplier QA documentation, oversee field-level controls, manage punch lists, and ensure quality records are complete and submitted accurately.
- Monitor and report quality performance using KPIs. Conduct incident investigations and lead quality reviews and governance meetings.
- Lead quality risk assessments and internal/external audits. Ensure compliance with Project Assurance Plans and Regional Assurance frameworks.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives. Mentor quality professionals, drive lessons learned, and contribute to the development of quality capability across the business.
What you’ll have
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
- Certified Internal or Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
- Relevant quality management experience across complex projects, including supervisory, project management, and technical leadership.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a track record of developing and implementing practical quality solutions aligned with organisational goals.
- Broad knowledge of quality management functions with experience leading change initiatives and project delivery improvements.
- Strong experience with root cause analysis and corrective/preventative action frameworks.
