Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain the site Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 and project-specific requirements.
Review and interpret project specifications, drawings, and standards to ensure compliance.
Conduct inspections and tests of materials, equipment, and workmanship during all phases of construction and mining activities.
Monitor and verify construction activities to ensure they meet quality requirements and approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including ITPs, Method Statements, Quality Checklists, and Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Maintain up-to-date records of inspections, test results, and quality audits.
Assist in preparing quality-related reports for management and clients.
Track and close non-conformances, corrective, and preventive actions.
Liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors on all quality-related matters.
Provide technical guidance to construction and operations teams regarding quality requirements.
Attend site meetings and contribute to the resolution of quality issues.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Mining, or related discipline).
Experience in quality assurance/control within mining, heavy civil, or construction projects.
Familiarity with materials testing, welding inspection, and equipment calibration processes.
