Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Support:

    • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project documentation, reports, permits, and records.

    • Support onboarding and mobilization of site personnel and contractors.

    • Coordinate meetings, prepare minutes, and manage project communication flows.

  • Logistics & Coordination:

    • Organize accommodation, transport, site access, and materials delivery for the workforce.

    • Maintain site registers (e.g., equipment, personnel, visitors).

    • Monitor daily site activities and report any issues or delays.

  • Project Controls:

    • Track project progress and update project schedules under direction.

    • Support procurement and inventory control of materials and supplies.

    • Help track expenditure, purchase orders, and invoices against budgets.

  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE):

    • Support the implementation of site safety procedures and ensure compliance.

    • Assist with site inductions, toolbox talks, and record-keeping.

    • Report incidents, hazards, and near-misses in coordination with the HSE team.

  • Stakeholder & Team Support:

    • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to resolve site-based issues.

    • Act as a point of contact for general project inquiries and communications.

    • Support community engagement or compliance with local regulations as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Construction, or related field (preferred).

  • Previous experience in a similar site-based support role, preferably in construction, mining, or heavy industry.

  • Familiarity with project environments, documentation processes, and safety standards.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of project management software (e.g., MS Project, Aconex, or Primavera) is an asset.

  • Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills.
