Project Quality Engineer I

🎓 Education and Ratings:

University degree, or equivalent, in a related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent.

✅Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in piping and welding inspection on construction projects.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards such as ASME and AWS.
• Experience with various types of welding, such as SMAW, GTAW and GMAW.
• Advanced/superior knowledge of storage tank construction and related facilities.
• Knowledge in NDT techniques (PT, MT, RT, UT). 
• Experience with codes and ASME, ANSI, ASTM, API, ISO, NOMs, NMXs and other reference standards such as API 650 and ISO 12944.

⭐ Assets

• International quality certifications (ISO 9001) would be an asset.
• International certifications in welding inspection, NDT or coatings would be an asset.
• NDT certifications such as MT, PT and UT preferred.

Software: 

Skills with IT and standard computer applications.
