Project Manager
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous relevant supervisory, project management and/or technical experience; Workshare experience.
- FEED/EPCM Project experience greater than 100 million USD TIC.
- Degree qualified (Engineering).
- Experience in Downstream and/or New Energy projects.
- Has a strong understanding of cross-discipline work, interfaces, and sequencing.
- Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content. Adept at budgeting and cost control.
- Experience in risk management, quality, procurement, or construction execution.
- Responsible for discipline planning, budgeting, and approval of expenditures.
- Must be based in Madrid and willing to travel as required.
Business Development
- May be called upon to lead part or all of a proposal.
- May support proposals by developing the engineering execution strategy, reviewing costs, writing proposal content, and presenting to customers.
- Encourages positive working relationships with external parties such as the customer, suppliers, and contractors.
- May be involved in networking, negotiations, strategic alliancing, and cost savings efforts.
- Stewards the maintenance of pricing records reflecting the effort to complete discipline activities.
- Support business development activities by facilitating the maintenance of personal profiles and resumes, tracking existing capabilities, and strategically addressing future customer capability requirements.
Supervision
- Operates with broad management authority. Limited only by project objectives and policies of the organization.
- Work is reviewed to ensure company direction meets company vision and mission.
Communication
- Effectively communicate and present complex proposals and reports to senior level management.
- Ability to persuade and influence others. Participative management style with a cooperative team approach.
Systems & Tools (Essential)
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Can organize information from many sources and retain as per the prescribed format and policies.
- Has functional awareness of cross-discipline tools. Experienced in coordinating the establishment/use of integrated tools and delivering the benefits of data centric engineering.
HSE Capability
- Assume hands-on management and implementation of all relevant company HSE requirements.
- Drive Safe and Sustainable engineering outcomes throughout the asset lifecycle via the application of Worley´s SEAL.
- Role-model a commitment to personal well-being and a pro-active approach to continuously improving health, safety and environmental performance.
