What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience:

  • An understanding of data handover requirements typically associated with capital projects, and an ability to translate these as they apply to engineering and design systems.
  • Strong knowledge of the Engineering / Procurement / Construction / Management (EPCM) project execution process and an understanding of how systems fit within the context of this process.
  • Experience in Project Systems Management, Project Data Management, and Project Document Management within a project environment is required.
  • Strong knowledge of methods for data-centric execution.
  • Familiarity with Agile work practices and Scrum methodology.
  • Knowledge of data modelling (Class Library) and industry standard data handover specifications (eg. CFIHOS, BIM).
  • Broad working knowledge of systems related to the design, construction, and operation of energy-related capital projects, including engineering design systems, data and document management systems, and project systems (estimating, project controls, procurement, construction, commissioning systems and information technology) with specific expertise in one or more of these disciplines.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including technical writing.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

Job Specific Knowledge:

  • 5+ years’ experience in the Engineering / Procurement / Construction (EPC) information lifecycle.
  • Broad working knowledge of all related information management disciplines including engineering design systems, data and document management systems, project systems (estimating, project controls, procurement, construction, commissioning systems) and information technology with specific expertise in one or more of these disciplines.
  • A strong understanding of engineering and project data management, including database technologies, data presentation, project data lifecycles and project data domains is required.
  • Strong overall understanding of project requirements, deliverables, and workflows.
  • Ability to effectively deliver presentations to both internal and external stakeholders.

Industry Specific Experience:

  • 7+ years of experience within the EPC industry in a relevant role and with strong project execution experience, is required.
  • Experience on Mining, Refineries, Chemical and Power project Execution.

HSE Capability:

  • Demonstrate behavior and business practices commensurate with a culture of world’s best health, safety, and environmental performance.              

IT Skills:   

  • Proficient in MS Office, Excel and MS Power Platform reporting, SQL reporting, and CAD applications.
  • General knowledge of systems (operating systems, software installation, user access and configurations, and networked environment).

People Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, detail oriented, self-motivated, and efficient. Ability to apply intelligence and knowledge to problem solving and meet deadlines.
  • Be able to coordinate work with other offices.
  • Be a team player and able to work effectively in a virtual team.
  • Be service oriented.
  • Be proactive – take ownership of assigned projects.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • A recognized degree.

Preferred:

  • Equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science or Business is preferred
