Project HSE Advisor
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Relevant experience in a similar role within the industrial construction.
- Experience and ability to manage team of HSE Professionals.
Knowledge:
- Good knowledge of Ontario provincial and federal OHS Acts and Construction Regulations.
- Understanding of ON WSIB requirements and applications.
- Familiarity with industry-specific hazards and risk mitigation strategies.
Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to convey complex HSE concepts in an understandable and engaging manner.
Team Player:
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with project teams and HSE professionals.
- At all times, conduct themselves in a professional and cordial manner while working on the Project.
- Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and environments.
Problem-Solving Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to contribute to incident investigations and risk assessments.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Relevant industry certifications such as Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP); National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) or other Health and Safety certifications, accreditations or equivalent.
