Purpose:
We are currently recruiting for a Project Controls professional. Our team includes world-class experts and dynamic go-getters. This is a full-time position based in Sudbury, Ontario.
Responsibilities:
- Build strong positive relationships while providing the Project Manager with the most recent information regarding the capital project to facilitate decision-making.
- Assist Project Managers with control and reporting of the project.
- Coordinate project management resources for the project.
- Develop, coordinate, manage and take ownership of efficient project administration systems for Projects, including database records and updates, maintenance and management of data associated with key delivery milestones and key Project performance indicator measures.
- Develop, coordinate and manage procedures to ensure the efficient cost and schedule reporting and cost control of Projects, including the recording, controlling, forecasting and reporting of all financial matters.

Technical and Industry Experience:
- Strong analytical skills and critical thinking.
- Strong MS Office skills.
- Have experience working on major EPCM and/or EPC (LSTK) contracts.
- The individual should understand the role of procurement in relation to project controls and have an understanding of procurement systems.
- High level of project coordination skills with the ability to apply technical skills, creativity, innovation, multi-tasking, risk analysis and effective problem-solving ability.
- Strong experience in data management systems and reporting.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to relate to all levels of customers and employees.
- Strong customer focus and proven skills in building long-term customer relationships.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment and manage competing priorities.
- Strong collaboration skills that enable you to build strong, positive relationships with diverse groups.

- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Intermediate understanding of systems, processes and tools specifically related to the field.
- A highly motivated individual with a continuous improvement mindset, strong analytical skills and decision-making capacity.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Business or related fields is ideal, or similar working experience.
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
- Experience with estimating software and EcoSys is required.
