As a Project Accountant, you will be responsible for driving best practice in PA across Indonesia.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Project Accountant to join our team in Indonesia.
The role responsibilities include:
- Overseas and advocates the key policies and procedures (e.g. DOA - Revenue Recognition, continuation of services etc.) relating to PA.
- Responsible for driving best practice in PA across the location
- Work with support functions to provide guidance on PA compliance matters
- As required support Locations during internal and external audits.
- Review the complete suite of monthly Project Reporting including but not limited to Project Summary Reports, Financial Summary Reports
- Manage and contest the provision of overall commercial and compliance support to PM’s.
- Review and ensure appropriate project accruals and other general ledger journal entries are posted for projects.
- Review and approve distribution of ad hoc reports for Project Managers and other internal stakeholders
- Support and interject in the Location review of PCS (Project Control Statement) analytics and FCS (Financial Control Statement) ‘actual’ financial data to ensure alignment of reporting with Oracle.
- Participate in Location WPR’s’s and drive improvements in financial position and cash flows (particularly DSO and aged WIP within operations).
- Actively works with Project Accountants and regional PA Lead to drive process and system improvement in particular automation.
- Work hand in hand with Project Controls to ensure alignment and driver process improvements.
What you’ll have
· A recognized degree bachelor’s degree or master’s degree or equivalent qualification with an emphasis in quantitative discipline such as finance, economics, accounting or commerce major
· Postgraduate qualifications in the relevant discipline such as CA or CPA, management or supervisory qualifications or equivalent
· Minimum, 5 years’ experience, with at least 3+ years in project accounting, to include financial experience and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization
· Strong finance/accounting background and data analytics and good understanding of project and operation management
· Experience with a large ERP environment such as Oracle, SAP or Hyperion
· Pro-active, goal oriented with excellent attention to detail
· Understands how the business delivers value to shareholders, what drives profitability and what increases growth
