What you will bring

Technical and Industry Experience: 

Job Specific Knowledge:

The 3D System Administrator is the 3D product administrator for a project, and is responsible for overall

system setup and configuration. The S3D Administrator is responsible for ensuring all projects are

configured per company standards. The S3D Administrator is responsible for general overview of project

S3D implementation/execution as described in company S3D Procedures and Workflows

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle database systems 
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
  • Experience in software installation and configuration of S3D on workstations and dedicated servers.
  • Advanced capabilities in project setup and administration; including creation and maintenance of project databases, clash management, workshare configuration
  • Experience in managing back-up systems and test environments, handover of database, troubleshooting databases and software issues, configuration changes, and version and versioning management.
  • Advanced modeling capabilities in all core S3D tasks; Piping, Equipment, Structural, Electrical, HVAC
  • Familiarity with Material Handling tasks and specific modeling capabilities
  • Experience in multi-office work sharing
  • Advanced capabilities and understanding in developing discipline reference data including piping specifications
  • Knowledge of Isometric, drawing and report configuration
  • Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues with piping specifications
  • Functional knowledge of other intelligent SmartPlant tools and how they are integrated through SmartPlant Foundation
  • Functional knowledge of SmartPlant Materials/Reference Data and how data is integrated into the S3D environment
  • Practical knowledge of .NET programming language

Industry Specific Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with engineering design systems and workflows in the EPCM industry
  • Relevant engineering industry experience
  • 5+ years using Smart 3D 
  • 3+ years administrating Smart 3D
  • 10+ years using CAD applications

IT Skills:

  • Proficient with Windows and Windows Server operating systems; network operations and protocols, folder sharing, active directory groups
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint

People Skills:

  • Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
  • Excel working in a team environment
  • Ability to coordinate work between multiple offices and teams
  • Proven ability to work with a diverse team and help lead the execution of solutions across the project team
  • Mentor users and administrators to grow the current knowledge-base of the Worley team. 

Other:

  • Willingness to learn
  • Self-motivating
  • Ability to carry out tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision
  • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skill
  • Extremely organized
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks at any one time
  • Ability to work remotely with minimal direct supervision utilizing phone, email, Teams and electronic work service request systems.

 

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

  • Diploma from an accredited technical institute/college
  • Training – Intergraph or equivalent training Smart3D Plant Piping and Equipment Modeling 

o   Smart3D Plant Electrical Modeling 

o   Smart3D Plant Structure and Civil Modeling 

o   Smart3D Drawing Creation 

o   Smart3D Drawing Configuration 

o   Smart3D Isometric Drawings 

o   Smart3D Report Customization 

o   Smart3D Setup and Administration 

o   Smart3D Plant Piping and Equipment Reference Data 

o   Smart3D Plant Electrical Reference Data 

o   Smart3D Plant Structure and Civil Reference Data 

o   Smart3D Programming I (Symbol Parts and Rules) 

o   Smart3D Programming II (Smart Symbols) 

o   Smart3D MHE Structural Modeling I 

o   Smart3D MHE Structural Modeling II
