🎯 Purpose

Principal Procurement Contract Specialist are responsible for Understands and applies a thorough knowledge of the principles governing the business terms and conditions of contracts being negotiated also responsible for successfully managing contract changes post-award.  This involves analyzing and responding to contractor correspondence in such a manner so as to not eviscerate the Client’s rights and remedies under the contract.  It also involves developing claims defense strategies and engaging Legal resources as required to implement such strategies 

📋 Responsibilities

  • You will Identify, solicit and select reliable contractors to supply consultant, speciality and construction services to support project execution.
  • Negotiate terms & conditions, prepare contracts, monitor contractor performance and delivery of services to meet objectives. 
  • Provide agreed approvals and supporting documentation for payment of invoices to ensure the required services to our company and the clients.
  • Ensure the inclusion of HSE (Health, Safety and Environment) requirements in the preparation of subcontracting.
  • Pre-qualification of subcontractors through the analysis of the information submitted in response to questionnaires,
  • Financial research and reference checks.
  • Verification of bidders for each type of work that can be subcontracted.
  • Drafting, evaluating, negotiating and executing contracts, including contractual terms

Mandatory Requirements

Experience:10+ years relevant experience

📜 Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training

  • University Degree, or equivalent, in related field or applicable discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.  (professionals in administration, industrial engineering, business law or related to the position)

💻 Work Modality: Hybrid (Office/Home Office)

📍 Location: Veracruz
