Specific accountabilities:
· Drafting of all process drawings including but not limited to PFD, UFD, P&ID’s, Block flow diagrams, etc.
· Pre-bid drawing estimates.
· Site surveys and process drawing verification (as-building), Supervising, coordinating and training of process designers.
· Coordinating process drafting work by other designers.
· Ensuring drawing quality and maintaining quality records.
· Filing and maintaining drawings and drawing register.
· Experience of internal audits will be an added advantage.
· Quality Assurance – Responsible for working within the provisions and guidelines of the Quality Assurance system relevant to the CSG, etc.
· Safety – Responsible for personal safety safe working practices for the CSG, etc.
· Understand and follow OH&S procedures.
Essential skills/experience:
· Relevant Experience in the field of oil & gas, refinery, petrochemical process drawing drafting/design.
· Preference will be given for candidates with experience in ISO 9001 certified Middle East engineering consultancy companies.
· Experience in AUTOCAD 2D, AUTOPLANT, PDMS, PDS, Micro-station, MS Office is a must.
· Independently able to produce process drawings using company or client drawing standards.
· Experience in preparing line lists, equipment list, drawing and document lists.
· Good working knowledge of manual drawing conversion tools (raster or vector) and editing in required software.
· Familiarity with all process related engineering activities.
· Dynamic and enthusiastic approach.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills.
· Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrated performance as a team leader.
· A practical hands on approach is required.
