What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping materials engineering
- Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- Role includes project design input, specification, piping specialty items datasheets, technical bid evaluation and procurement of materials to support
- Pipeline and Facilities work in a portfolio environment.
- Knowledge of ASME/ASTM piping materials, line classes, and procurement.
- A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications
- ABSA requirements
- Knowledge of ASME / ASTM codes and standard related to piping engineering
- Knowledge of CSA pipeline materials and procurement is an asset.
- Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as MS Office Suite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Small projects experience is an asset.
- EPC experience is an asset.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training
Required:
· A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
· Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status in Alberta with APEGA.
- Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident Status
