Principal Piping Designer
What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- 15+ years of progressive experience in piping design.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and the design process.
- Effective communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to identify and resolve technical problems independently.
- Proficiency in advanced PC, 2D CAD, and 3D CAD tools.
- Experience in advanced design techniques and design tool utilization.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities.
- Commitment to customer service and functional problem-solving.
- Experience with field assignments and willingness to travel is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams.
- Extensive experience in piping and layout design for power generation and industrial facilities, with chemical facility experience being a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of AVEVA E3D experience.
- Proficiency in Microstation V8i, AutoCAD, and MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- 10 years of experience using 3D model design review software (CADworx, AVEVA E3D).

- Salary Range is $127,816-$187,965.

Required:
- Degree in a 2- or 3-year technical diploma program with piping design training or an Associate’s degree.
Preferred:
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
