Principal or Lead Civil Engineer - Earthworks Specialist - Mining, Minerals and Metals
What you will bring:
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Lead-level experience in Civil engineering with extensive Mining project experience.
- A proven mining industrial record is essential, remote or arctic locations are a plus.
- Strong understanding of civil earthworks design including environmental and geotechnical requirements.
- Working knowledge of civil design software Civil3D and InRoads will be an asset.
- Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Self-starter with an aptitude for problem solving and the ability to work independently or as a member of a team.
- Strong and effective leadership skills.
- Candidate must be eligible to work in Canada.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Minimum B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering.
- Registration as a P.Eng.
For applicants based in the province of British Columbia, the salary range is $ 144,952 to $ 205,454
Application of the pay band: Variation in salary is determined by factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
