Principal Mechanical Engineer - Static Equipment
What you will bring
- An Australian recognised Bachelor qualification in mechanical engineering
- Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia
- Previous experience on Major Brownfield Refinery Projects, through all phases, included execution
- Extensive working knowledge and experience in static pressure equipment design and specification, such as shell and tube heat exchangers, air cooled heat exchangers, process columns including internals, drums and separators.
- Extensive knowledge of pressure equipment design standards; ASME and Australian standards, including Australian requirements for verification and registration
- Extensive knowledge and experience working with API and TEMA standards for static equipment listed above.
- Experience with modularized vendor packages.
- Experience with refinery equipment material requirements and selection considerations to avoid common failure mechanisms with items such as Hydrogen, H2S etc.
- Understanding of piping and pipe supports and the interfaces with mechanical equipment.
- Experience in MS Office Suite and discipline specific including: Navisworks, Bluebeam / Adobe Suite
