Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) preferred.
2. Minimum of 15+ years of experience in instrumentation engineering, with a proven track record of designing and implementing instrumentation systems for Oil and Gas applications.
3. Strong expertise in instrumentation technologies, including sensors, transmitters, control and choke valves, PLCs, SCADA systems, DCS/ICSS and data acquisition systems. Experience and exposure to Yokogawa CENTUM and STARDOM is preferred.
4. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of engineers.
5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
7. Knowledge of regulatory standards and industry best practices related to instrumentation engineering, such as ISA, IEC, and ANSI standards.
8. Professional certifications such as Certified Instrumentation and Control Technician (CICT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
9. Experience in industries such as oil and gas, petrochemicals, power generation, or pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
