Responsibilities:

Highly analytical and performance-focused CAPEX Trending Specialist with proven experience supporting complex EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects within the mining sector. Demonstrates deep understanding of capital-intensive operations, cost structures, and financial dynamics from feasibility through execution and close-out.
CAPEX planning and lifecycle cost analysis for the project assets

Cost trending and variance reporting for EPCM mining projects

Financial modeling for mine development and expansion scenarios
Stakeholder engagement across engineering, procurement, and finance teams
Compliance with mining industry standards and regulatory frameworks

Delivered monthly cost trend reports with actionable insights, enabling project teams to maintain budget alignment.

Led integration of cost trending tools to enhance real-time financial visibility.

 

Requirements:

Engineering professional with over 15 years of experience. Highly analytical and performance-focused CAPEX Trending Specialist with proven experience supporting complex EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) projects within the mining sector. Demonstrates deep understanding of capital-intensive operations, cost structures, and financial dynamics from feasibility through execution and close-out.
Expert in capital expenditure forecasting, cost trending, and variance analysis across multi-phase projects including open-pit and underground operations, mineral processing facilities, and infrastructure expansions. Adept at integrating financial insights with project controls to ensure budget compliance, optimize resource allocation, and support strategic decision-making

Formación Académica, Acreditaciones, Entrenamiento 
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Metallurgical, Mining Engineering, or a related discipline, with active registration in the Peruvian Engineers Association (#CIP).
Project Management specialization or PMI certification preferred
Habilidades TI: Strong command of Microsoft Suite (Project, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Basic knowledge of Power BI (preferred).
