Principal Electrical Engineer
You'll have
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, master’s degree is a plus.
- Extensive experience in electrical engineering and has led minimum 2 medium to large size EPC projects to deliver the electrical engineering and design scope of work.
- Experience from LV & MV equipment’s and system design on the projects is required. HV experience will be considered as plus.
- Skilled in project discipline leadership. Has a strong background in discipline work, and a competent understanding of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry standard practices. Ensure electrical design compliance with client requirements on the project and be the ambassador of Worley SEAL to the client for delivering Safe and sustainable Engineering for Asset Lifecycle with right to left thinking.
- Experience and Knowledge electrical system design with reference to standards like NORSOK, PTIL/PSA, IEC, ATEX, DNV etc.
- Experience with electrical software such as ETAP, TraceCalc, Dialux for system design and verification.
- Well versed in discipline setup, instituting work processes, monitoring a team, producing deliverables, project controls, and project closeout. Skilled in estimating project costs and writing proposal content.
- Strong ability to inform and persuade on complex matters through preparation and delivery of proposals, presentations, and reports, as well as collaboration with stakeholders and management.
- Experience of leading distributed teams of 20 plus electrical engineers and designers. Able to work and liaise with multiple teams and stakeholders working in a distributed manner, able to prioritize workloads and help other team members to achieve team goals.
- Experience from the Brownfield and Greenfield projects oil and gas projects for topside scope.
- Strong communication skills in English whereas Norwegian would-be advantage.
This is an excellent opportunity to strengthen the understanding from construction and yard environment, as you’ll be able to see the engineering and design work getting constructed, installed and MC completed at the yard right next to the engineering office before entering to commissioning phase.
