Principal Document Controller

Principal Document Controller
The scope of work shall include:
- Direct liaison and relationship management with Client Document Control Manager.
- Development and implementation of Document Control procedures and processes that meet the requirements of Worley DCC procedures and meet the Clients Project contractual obligations.
- Implementation of Worley EDMS (Aconex) to meet the requirements of approved project document control procedures.
- Heading up kick off meetings for document control requirements for Contractors & Suppliers.
- Review of Contractor and Supplier MDRs to ensure consistency.
- Arranging and providing suitable training and support for all Worley personnel that will use the EDMS.
- Administration of EDMS for Client and Third-Parties (e.g. Suppliers, Contractors, project partners etc.) to allow the organisations to meet our Project procedures for Document Control.
- Arranging and providing suitable training and support for all Third-Party personnel that will use the EDMS (Aconex)
- Coordinating all activities related to the document control process and procedures including technical documents, drawings, and commercial correspondence.
- Inputting document data into document control system ensuring that the information is accurate and up to date.
- Making sure that controlled copies of latest approved documents and drawings are distributed to the appropriate Worley, Client and third-party personnel.
- Managing document submission and return process across the Engineering & Consultancy Services.
- Assist management with pulling reports from Aconex.
- Engaging with Client, Contractors, Suppliers and Worley team members when they require assistance with Aconex.
- Processing MDR change requests.
- Extensive experience in an Engineering and Consultancy based EPCm Document Control role
- Significant experience as a Lead Document Controller
- Confidence in heading up meetings and presenting is a must.
- Experience with large scale Document Control software is required, Aconex is highly desirable.
- Proven accuracy, reliability with a conscientious work ethic.
- Must be details oriented and highly organised.
- Excellent verbal/written communication, problem solving, and decision-making skills
- Working knowledge of MS office tools and experience with PDF software is required.
