Piping Stress Engineer
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
2. Proficiency in piping stress analysis software such as Caesar II, AutoPIPE, or similar tools.
3. Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials properties, and mechanical behavior.
4. Knowledge of relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASME B31.3, ASME Section VIII, API, etc.).
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
6. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for interacting with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
7. Prior experience in the Metals and Minerals, oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industry is often preferred.
Experience:
· 4+ years of experience in piping stress analysis and design, with progressively increasing responsibilities. Senior positions may require 7-10 years or more of relevant experience.
