Worley is a global professional services company of energy, chemicals and resources experts. We partner with customers to deliver projects and create value over the life of their assets. We’re bridging two worlds, moving towards more sustainable energy sources, while helping to provide the energy, chemicals and resources needed now.

At Worley, we’re solving some of the world’s most complex challenges. From accelerating the transition to more sustainable energy to ensuring society continues to receive the resources it needs today, our people are at the heart of it all. We’re looking for curious, skilled professionals who thrive in the field, value collaboration, and bring sharp analytical insight to every project. If this sounds like you, read on—you may be the person we’re looking for.

Purpose of the role
You will play an integral role in validating installed quantities across major construction activities, including structural steel, concrete, piping, equipment, and electrical bulks. By ensuring accuracy in reporting, progress measurement, and billing, you help provide the clarity and precision that keeps large-scale projects on track. Approximately 70% of your time will be spent in the field, where your practical know-how and sharp eye for detail will make a direct impact on project performance.

Core Responsibilities

  • Validate installed quantities against contractor progress claims across multiple disciplines.
  • Maintain detailed logs of installed work for verification of project reporting, billing, and earned value measurement.
  • Identify, investigate, and document any variances in reported quantities.
  • Promote and model safe field practices, ensuring compliance with all Worley and site-specific safety standards.
  • Collaborate closely with field supervision and project controls teams to drive accuracy in weekly quantity reporting.
  • Provide clear, professional communication—through reports, proposals, and presentations—to inform stakeholders and influence project decisions.
  • Support and troubleshoot field systems, processes, and tools, while mentoring others where needed.

What you’ll bring to the role

  • A university degree in a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant experience, ideally with supervisory exposure in construction or field leadership roles.
  • Background as a Construction Foreman, General Foreman, or project controls specialist is highly valued.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to balance fieldwork and reporting accuracy.
  • Advanced knowledge of construction practices, with specialized expertise in quantity surveying.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to persuade, collaborate, and build trust across teams.
  • A commitment to safety as a core value, both for yourself and those around you.

Feel the energy at Worley with access to a range of benefits including: paid time off, holiday pay (usually 8 per year in the US), and eligibility to participate in our medical, life, dental, and vision insurance plans, as well as our 401(k) plan.

If this opportunity excites you and you’re ready to bring your expertise into a role that makes a measurable impact, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and take the next step with Worley.
