Piping Engineer Level II

🎓 Education and Ratings:

• Mechanical Engineering or related career
• English: (Desirable)

Experience in multidisciplinary projects:

• It is required to have 2 to 5 years of experience in the general industry in piping design.

Technical Competencies:

• Knowledge of ASME B31.1, ASME B31.3, EJMA, API, ASTM codes
• Knowledge and application of piping materials.
• Drawing of equipment arrangements, piping.
• Design of process piping and services of less complexity.
• Knowledge and application of the department's design standards.
• Knowledge and application of CAD drawing standards.
• Knowledge and application of pipe supports and restrictions.
• Knowledge and application of standards and work instructions WL204-001 to 022.
• Knowledge and application of the department's standards and work instructions.
• Knowledge of information from other disciplines and the ability to obtain such information from design activities in a timely manner is required.
• Knowledge of other disciplines of the deliverables developed to ensure the coordination of the drawing stages.
• Knowledge of flexibility and stress analysis of piping systems.
• Knowledge of manual valve sizes, their use and applications.

Software:

• Office (Intermediate – Advanced)
• Cadworks 2022
• AutoCAD 2020
• Navisworks Simulation Management (80%)
• Preferably also handles E3D or PDMS.
