Piping Engineer Level II
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Four to Eight Years of relevant industry experience in the same or similar industry
- Sound technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver high quality, accurate, and timely work to Worley and its customers.
- A working knowledge of the fundamental requirements of piping engineering and the basic requirements of other engineering fields.
- A working knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications
o ABSA requirements for design and registration of piping systems
o Knowledge of ASME / ASTM codes and standard related to piping engineering
o Knowledge of CSA pipeline requirements is an asset - Competent use of piping engineering specific software and relevant software such as the MS Office Suite of tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are required
- Experience as a discipline lead on small projects is an asset.
- EPC experience is an asset.
- Stress analysis experience is an asset
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- A recognized degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) status in Alberta with APEGA.
- Canadian Citizenship or Canadian Permanent Resident Status
