Piping Engineer
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related field
- Proven experience of 3 -5 years working as a Piping Designer in the oil, gas, or power industry, with exposure to both greenfield and brownfield projects.
- Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, with experience in 3D modeling preferred.
- Sound knowledge of piping design principles, materials, and components, as well as relevant codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve design conflicts and optimize piping layouts.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
- Familiarity with project management processes and procedures is advantageous.
- Experience with laser scanning and point cloud processing technologies is a plus.
