Piping Designer Level I
Qualifications and Experience:
· Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Piping Design, or related field.
· Proven experience of 7 years working as a Piping Designer in the oil, gas, or power industry, with exposure to both greenfield and brownfield projects.
· Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, with experience in 3D modeling preferred.
· Sound knowledge of piping design principles, materials, and components, as well as relevant codes and standards.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve design conflicts and optimize piping layouts.
· Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
· Familiarity with project management processes and procedures is advantageous.
· Experience with laser scanning and point cloud processing technologies is a plus.
