Piping Department Manager
What you will bring
Technical and Industry Experience:
- Significant experience including technical and supervisory experience.
- Ability to manage resources for multiple complex projects through others.
- Experience interfacing with executive management on significant matters influencing the organization’s business results, which typically include development and implementation of strategies.
- Ability to visualize and oversee the design of new concepts and ideas related to the broader organization as well as functional area of expertise and broad knowledge of business operations and ability to implement and lead organizational change effectively.
- Capable of effectively communicating and presenting complex program proposals and resource plans is critical.
- Proven leadership skills in multi-cultural and multi-office environments with a cooperative team approach.
- Commitment to customer service and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong expertise in the area of Piping Design and Piping Engineering.
- Strong understanding of design development, plant layout, equipment, piping layout, construction, etc
- / Prior field and construction support experience.
- Experience in the development of proposals and manhour estimates.
- Strong understanding of project delivery, execution, and problem solving.
- Prior resource management and leadership experience.
Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:
Required:
- Engineering degree from an accredited university.
Preferred:
- P. Eng. In one or more Canadian jurisdictions.
