Pipeline Integrity Engineer
What You Will Need:
- A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or a related field. A master's degree is beneficial.
- A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in pipeline integrity management, with a track record in both green and brown field projects in the oil and gas sector.
- Pipeline design, construction, inspection, and maintenance expertise, with a focus on both new projects and evaluations of existing assets.
- Thorough familiarity with industry codes and standards like DNV-OS-F101, DNV-ST-F101, DNV-RP-F101 , API 570, API 579, ASME B31.4, ASME B31.8, etc.
- Expertise in using integrity assessment tools and software including experience with advanced inspection techniques for both new and existing pipelines.
- Good analytical abilities to decipher complicated data sets and offer strategic recommendations specific to project needs.
- Outstanding communication abilities to engage with clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies effectively, articulating technical concepts clearly and concisely.
- A thorough understanding of the environmental, health, and safety regulations that apply to pipeline operations in both greenfield and brownfield settings
- Certification in pipeline integrity (e.g., API 570, API 580, NACE CP or equivalent) is highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated proficiency in integrity management systems and risk-based inspection methodologies for a diverse range of projects.
