Rate: £22.44ph + 80p 2nd tier payment, OT1 £31.42, OT2 £40.39, Radius allowance
Worley is currently recruiting for a Pipefiitter to join the Maintenance Team for a fixed term contract.
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team at Saltend
Key aims and objectives:
- To perform all required pipefitting tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications.
- To deliver a high quality, consistent and competent pipefitting service in accordance with project / company requirements, standards and procedures.
- To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule.
- To ensure all that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment
Role Requirements:
Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the piping / assembly work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.
- Follow the schedule communicated by the supervisor
- Manufacture, Installation, and testing of pipes and pipe supports in accordance with drawings/sketches and specifications.
- Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches
- Provide support to other trades/disciplines where required, or form part of an integrated multi-discipline team.
- Provide timely feedback to supervisor or plant operator of ongoing status or completion of the task.
- Proactively seek additional tasks where time permits.
- Sign on to applicable permit to work (PTW) in order to complete work scope on a controlled and safe manner.
- Undertake appropriate Risk Assessments (RA) in order to complete work scope in a safe and controlled manner.
- Adhere to all applicable company policies, working practices and procedures as communicated by the company from time to time.
All candidates should hold the following Qualifications & certification:

Essential:
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
- CCNSG Safety Passport
Desirable:
- MJI10 Bolted Connection Techniques
- Manual Handling
- Machinery / pipework alignment and installation
- Preventative maintenance
- NVQ / City & Guilds Level 3 Mechanical Fitter (or equivalent)
Ideally, candidates will also have the following experience:
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members
- Demonstrate commitment to working safely at all times
- Flexible – able to comply with company and client requirements
- Ability to work with other team members/disciplines and in a multi-cultural environment
- Confident and with an ability to work unsupervised and work on own initiative
- Has a desire to learn and develop within the role
- Experience in development works and pressure testing preferred.
