Offshore Crane - Responsible Package Engineer
You’ll have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field. (Extensive relevant work experience can compensate for lack of formal education).
- Experienced in engineering or package management roles within offshore oil & gas or marine industries.
- Proven experience with offshore cranes, lifting equipment, and related mechanical systems.
- Strong knowledge of international standards and regulations (e.g., DNV-ST-0378, NORSOK R-002).
- Hands-on experience in managing vendors and technical documentation in large EPC projects.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team across engineering, procurement, and construction.
- Excellent communication skills and a structured, solution-oriented mindset.
- Proficient in technical software and tools such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and document management systems (e.g., IFS, PIMS, SharePoint).
- Offshore safety certification is an advantage.
