Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical field or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Advanced degree or certification in Quality Management (preferred).
  • ASQ Certified Manager of Quality / Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) or similar certification (recommended).
  • NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor or ability to become certified within one year (preferred).

Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in nuclear QA.
  • Proven record of developing and implementing effective nuclear QA programs.
  • Experience overseeing diverse teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in conducting audits and investigations.
  • Demonstrated ability in making presentations to customers and management.
  • Experience managing and collaborating across a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural organization.
  • Ability and willingness to travel throughout North America.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of nuclear industry regulations and standards (e.g., ASME NQA-1, NRC regulations, ISO 9001).
  • Ability to interpret and apply nuclear standards in strict procedural and regulatory contexts.
  • Exceptional technical writing and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong organizational, managerial, and leadership skills.
  • Effective time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strategic mindset aligned with customer service and company values.
