Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor
Person Specifications – Qualifications and Key Skills
· NVQ Level 3 Engineering Maintenance or equivalent Electrical Trade Qualification
· Previous supervisory experience beneficial
· 5-10 Years’ experience in mechanical maintenance activities planned and unplanned.
· Experience working at the front end to very tight project timelines in pressure situations.
· Knowledge of electronic asset management reporting systems.
· Proactive approach to maintenance on site.
· Ability to analyse and interpret technical procedures and documentation.
· Ability to understand drawings and diagrams.
· Strong communication, networking, collaboration, and well-developed team-working skills, especially in multi-discipline and multi-cultural teams
· Have an ‘Incident Free’ mind-set and be a role model for the project team and contractors alike.
· Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills, being able to work with the various sub-teams to resolve issues and reach decisions that are in the best interests of the integrated project team.
· Demonstrate a logical systematic approach to work, show initiative, demonstrate resilience, and accept accountability.
· Display a positive ethical behavior.
· A full UK driving license is required for this role.
Desirable:
· A good understanding of water treatment plants, oil purification and gas generators advantageous.
· Evidence of Safe Isolation of Mechanical systems within the scope of your appointment.
· Safety qualification.
