Mechanical Engineer

About You

• An Australian recognised Bachelor qualification in mechanical engineering.
• Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
• Experience working on Resource sector projects
• Experience across the phases of engineering projects from feasibility/conceptual studies through to detailed design and execution.
• Willingness to attend site for short stints from time to time for project familiarisation, data collection, asset assessments, inspections, and site construction/commissioning support.
• Experience with materials handling systems (conveyors, stockyards, material screening/crushing etc) that includes:

o   Equipment sizing and selection;

o   Knowledge of bulk material flow properties and design fundamentals of bulk material storage and transfer infrastructure; and

o   Experience with input into plant layout and design, with operations and maintenance in mind, including knowledge of AS 4024 and awareness of other discipline requirements;

• Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and discipline specific software including:

o   Sidewinder / Beltstat (highly desirable).

o   AFT Fathom / Fluid Flow 3.

o   Ansys Rocky

o   Navisworks.

o   PDFXchange / Bluebeam / Adobe Suite.
