The Role
As a Mechanical Designer with Worley, you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc….
- Mechanical designers with 10 to 15 years of experience in Mechanical Department of a consultancy organization and/or technical services department of a Metal / Mineral / Chemical Processing plant.
- Knowledge of Cu/Al smelting plant will be an added advantage.
- Capable to work independently and should have worked as Lead Designer in at least 4-5 projects with a mechanical team of 4-5 people.
- Capable to handle large or medium scale project and responsible for technical, quality and schedule.
- Hands on Basic & Detailed Engineering Experience consisting of Bulk Material Handling & Conveyors for Indian/Australian / European / Overseas projects.
- Hands on Experience in Plant Layout and Plot Plan, General Arrangement of Process buildings, Conveyor, Transfer tower etc.
- Hands on Experience in component level detail/ shop engineering for any kind of material handling plant including fabrication drawings for Chutes, Frames, Technological Structures etc.
- Hands on Experience on ducting layout & drawing will be added advantage.
- Good Knowledge of Material Science and should be conversant with national, international codes and standards, like ASME / API / BS / EN etc.
- Knowledge of 2D software like AutoCAD, MicroStation and 3D software like S3D, E3D, Inventor, Autodesk Plant 3D etc.
- Orientation to working in workshare environments with overseas office.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written to communicate with client and overseas offices.
About You
- A degree/diploma in Mechanical engineering from a reputed university.
- Total 10 to 15 years of experience in Engineering and Design, preferably with engineering consultants/contractors or from client's side.
- Good Presentation Skills.
- Good spoken and written English language skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Mention any professional affiliations/certifications.
- Should be open for short travel and deputation to sites/ Overseas Offices where required.
- Mention near term mobility readiness.
