Mechanical Construction Specialist III
What you will bring
Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications Requirements:
- Vocational training in construction trades such as Pipe Fitting, Boilermaker, Machining, Carpentry, Welding, Electrician, Instrument Technician, HVAC technician desired.
- Minimum 10 years in Construction Management or Site Superintendent in heavy, chemical plant, process industry. Interaction with civil, concrete, piping, mechanical, building, electrical and instrumentation trades desired.
- Familiarity with piping and mechanical systems such as isometrics, manual valves, specialty items, packaged skids, chillers, cooling towers etc.
- Familiarity with electrical and instrumentation systems such as transformers, MCCs, switchgear, conduit, cable and wire installations.
- Familiarity with civil and structural systems such as concrete foundations, underground piling, structural steel erection, building/panel construction.
- Strong understanding of OSHA industrial work practices as related to Health, Safety and Environmental impacts.
Preferred:
- Work experience in oil, petrochemical or chemical operating facilities. Other heavy industry experience such as power generation, pulp & paper, specialty chemical manufacturing is acceptable.
- Previous experience in operations, process engineering, technology, maintenance, construction, construction management, or HSE.
