Manager, Material Control
QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLSET
- University degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience in material controls, procurement, or a technical discipline relevant to the energy, chemicals, or resources sectors.
- Typically, over ten years of relevant experience in materials management, including leadership, project management, or technical roles.
- Advanced problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated capacity to make independent decisions in complex situations.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to prepare, present, and influence senior stakeholders across various functions.
- Extensive experience in applying systems, processes, and tools in material controls management, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting issues and implementing improvements.
- Experience in managing smaller projects or parts of larger projects, with a focus on achieving business objectives and project milestones.
- A collaborative and proactive mindset, able to work independently and guide others to ensure a high standard of operational efficiency.
