Manager, Construction, Manitoba area site position

Technical and Industry Experience:

• Lead / Senior level of experience at a senior level managing major heavy industrial construction projects with preferred experience mining projects: processing, overland pipelines, filtered and conventional tailings underground blast hole stooping or block caving, surface buildings/storages, surface infrastructure.
• Understanding regulations in various jurisdictions.
• Willingness to work on remote sites as required.
• Demonstrated ability to facilitate engineering constructability reviews.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare detailed construction execution plans and prepare work face planning.
• Computer Literacy i.e. MS Office, Primavera, XL.
• Appropriate Environmental training.
• HSE Leadership skills and Quality Assurance.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Required:

• A degree from a recognized university in engineering, management.

Preferred:

• Appropriate formal Safety qualification
• Related field requires Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is preferred.
