Lifting Equipment Engineer
Experience and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s degree preferred) in Mechanical Engineering
· Strong technical skills; 7+ years of experience in the design of lifting, handling and hoisting equipment, conveyors, and elevators
· Expertise in crane design and mechanical systems.
· Familiar with gear design and analysis, welding principles, metallurgy and manufacturing materials.
· Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance standards
· Proficient in applicable crane design codes and standards
· Knowledgeable of electrical/analogue and digital control systems
Special Job Requirements
· Work location is Cairo, Egypt and the El Dabaa NPP site
· Ability to communicate, influence and persuade
· Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian is a plus
