Worley is seeking an experienced and skilled Discipline Lead for Technical Safety and Working Environment to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and delivering technical safety and working environment solutions across a variety of projects. Your primary focus will be to ensure that all documentation is delivered in accordance with customer requirements and specifications, while also managing the discipline plan and budget. This is a pivotal role that requires collaboration across multiple disciplines, both internally and with clients, to ensure the successful execution of projects.

You'll be

  • Discipline Lead for Technical Safety and Working Environment 
  • Responsible for discipline deliveries in the project 
  • Organizing of the discipline within the project 
  • Discipline plan and budget 
  • Multidiscipline collaboration internally and with client 

You’ll have

  • Experience in project discipline leadership 
  • Relevant technical education (MSc og BSc degree) 
  • Extensive experience within Technical Safety 
  • Basic knowledge about working environment requirements.
  • Experience from oil & gas, carbon capture, hydrogen or offshore wind projects
  • Knowledge of relevant engineering standards
  • Excellent cooperation and teamworking skills

Ideally the candidate will have special competence in several of the below areas

  • Discipline Input to Design Basis
  • Prepare and contribute to reviews (HAZID, HAZOP etc), such as preparation of Term of Reference.  ALARP assessments
  • Dropped Objects Assessments 
  • Flare Radiation Assessments 
  • Safety Barrier Management, develop Design Performance Standards 
  • Design of Active Firefighting systems including Hydraulic Calculations. 
  • Fire & Gas detection layout design 
  • Functional Safety 
  • Area Classification 
  • Fire Protection Data Sheets 
  • Quantitative Risk Assessment (QRA) 
  • Fire Integrity Analysis 
  • Noise and Vibration Assessments 
  • Blast Overpressure Analysis
