Lead Mechanical/ Piping Engineer

What you will bring:

• An Australian recognised Bachelor qualification in mechanical engineering.
• Eligible for membership with Engineers Australia.
• Extensive technical and leadership experience in the Mechanical and Piping disciplines, including leading multi-disciplinary teams

• Excellent knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the discipline, including:

  o   Brownfields Engineering

  o   Equipment layout

  o   Design of pump and piping systems

  o   Fluid system analysis and design particularly of slurry systems

  o   Pipe stress analysis

  o   Design of pressure equipment

  o   Design of materials handling equipment

  o   Read and interpret drawings, including general mechanical, piping and P&ID drawings.

  • Competent in the use of relevant software such as MS Office Suite and discipline specific including: AFT Fathom / Fluid Flow 3, Non compressible and compressible fluid system analysis. Navisworks, Bluebeam / Adobe Suite etc
