Lead Mechanical Engineer

What you’ll do

We are looking for a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Bangkok Office, Thailand

The role responsibilities include:

·        Overall supervision of mechanical engineers.

·        Technical competence of Mechanical engineering personnel.

·        Forecast requirement for resources and allocate those resources within particular project scope.

·        Mechanical design integrity of workscope and maintenance of standards.

·        Prepare mechanical manhour estimate to perform project tasks.

·        Check compliance with Alliance QA/safety/environment goals.

·        Manage mechanical design and any design changes within budget and schedule.

·        Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.

·        Technical supervision of project designated mechanical engineers in the execution of their duty.

·        Prepare weekly mechanical progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.

What you’ll have

·        Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent

·        Mechanical engineering experience in design/operations support related to the oil & gas production and processing industries, within conceptual, FEED and detailed design in the Oil & Gas Industry.

·        highly desirable work experience background as a Rotating Equipment/Packaged Equipment or Static Equipment, offshore project.

·        Front End Design experience covering project scope development and cost and schedule estimating
