What you’ll do
We are looking for a Lead Marine Pipelines Engineer to join our team in Perth.
The role responsibilities include:
- Leading engineering delivering of subsea pipeline and flowline systems design in accordance with design codes.
- Oversight of data-centric pipeline engineering tools.
- Managing interfaces with flow assurance and subsea systems disciplines within Worley Offshore Energy.
- Reviewing design reports, drawings and presentations.
- Oversee projects, manage budgets, and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
- Client interfacing / support to engineering manager.
What you’ll have
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- Extensive years of experience in subsea pipeline design.
- Experience with the Finite Element Method and proficiency in FEA software (Abaqus, Ansys) is advantageous.
- Ability to coordinate delivery of pipeline engineering deliverables with prescribed schedule and budget.
- Experience in developing delivery plans and CTRs.
- Good knowledge and fundamental understanding on structural mechanics, soil mechanics and fluid mechanics.
- Clear communication skills, able to build relationships across different cultures, collaborative across various parts of the organization.
- Well-developed writing skills for reporting and documenting engineering studies and analyses in the English language.
