Job Purpose:

• Supervise, analyze, and perform project planning, scheduling and monitoring for the assigned projects.

Key Accountabilities:

Job Specific Accountabilities:

Projects Planning -

• Provide input for preparation of the budgets for Capital Projects and assist in the implementation of the approved Budget.

• Review/ prepare summary schedules for all new projects based on alternative execution strategies to facilitate Management decision.

• Develop project specific Planning, Progress Measurement, Progress Reporting, and other project control requirements (Pre-FEED, FEED, PMC, EPC).

• Technical/ Resources Evaluation

• Participate in the evaluation of the technical bids received from Consultants/Contractors.

• Review/ analyze all submittals from Pre-FEED, FEED, PMC, and EPC Contractors/Consultants during implementation stage.

 Monitoring & Controlling -

• Review and endorse monthly progress claimed by the Consultants/Contractors for payment purposes.

• Ensure up to date Databank for historical information.

• Review resource deployment by Contractors/Consultants for determining their adequacy for meeting the completion schedules.

• Evaluate Variation requests / Claims for extension of project schedules made by Contractors.

• Review periodically the Schedule Risk Analysis along with the mitigation measures identified by the Consultants/Contractors.

• Coordinate with the Project Control Managers of all Project Management Consultants (PMCs) and FEED/EPC Contractors to ensure adherence to the project control.

Generic Accountabilities:

Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures -

• Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering projects’ activity.

Continuous Improvement -

• Stimulate subordinates and contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of project and technical unit systems.

• The employee shall support Borouge’s strategies and aspects in enriching the desired culture through internal and external communications.

Qualification/ Experience:

Minimum Qualification -

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from a reputable and recognized university.

• Decent project experience, working in the oil & gas industry with previous knowledge of preparing and implementing project plans.

Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills -

• Adequate work experience.

• Experience in Oil & Gas sector of progressive professional experience in project control.

• Relevant experience in a similar project control lead role in a relevant industry or sector.

Professional Certifications -

• Preferred but not mandatory to have PMP, CCP.

Technical competencies -

• Project control (Planning, scheduling, monitoring and control) skills.

• Full understanding of schedule, cost and risk analysis tools and techniques.

• Technical understanding and proficient knowledge related to Oil & Gas business.

• Planning and implementation skills.

• Detailed knowledge of principles, policies, procedures, and internal processes pertaining to project control transactions.

• B4 Core IPMT -Project Control team

• B4 Package IPMT -Project Control team

(External)

• Stakeholders external to the Project, Project Contractors, consultants, advisors working on the B4 Project.

• Licensors, EPC Contractors, Third Party Inspection Agencies, vendors etc.
