Development and Management of construction and completions capability across PMC projects ensuring that design integrity is not compromised while managing the department in the execution of the process. Managing and executing the Projects according to the Field Contract.
Responsibilities:
· Promote and drive the involvement of Construction in areas of technical design, schedule, preliminary execution planning, and cost estimating.
· Develop and maintain a familiarity and appreciation of capability and ongoing workload of Construction’s support providers / contractors.
· Develop and maintain functional responsibility for all construction and completions personnel.
· Technical competence of construction personnel.
· Forecast requirement for construction engineering resources and allocate those resources.
· Prepare man hour estimates to perform project tasks.
· Promote cost reduction and productivity enhancing initiatives.
· Prepare weekly progress and expenditure reports on a project specific basis.
Requirements:
· Bachelor Degree in Engineering and experience in oil and gas major projects in a Lead role
· Post graduation experience
· Familiar with Management of Heavy lifting equipment and large Earth moving activities. -Demonstrated experience of working in the Oil & Gas industry -Must have proven track record in leading a team
· Pre-commissioning and Commissioning and Performance Testing experience.
Experience
· Experienced in the specification, evaluation and documentation of equipment.
· Work is performed in accordance with broad technical guidelines and with minimal supervision.
· Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritisation of work to achieve them.
